Amber Graydon, of Hospice of Laurens County, was awarded the Ambassador of the Quarter Award at the Chamber Board meeting held on June 20th. Amber is a new member of the Ambassador Program but has already become an asset to the program. She has been dedicated to attending member events, visiting the member businesses and organizations, as well as supporting the Chamber and its efforts!
Congratulations to The Railhouse Restaurant on their 1 Year Anniversary! On Friday, June 9th Jessica McLeod and staff were joined by members of the Chamber of Commerce and patrons to celebrate this milestone, as well as their Chamber membership, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. On June 8th, the Laurens County Community Foundation held their Annual Celebration in partnership with the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event. Robin Day, Executive Director, and Cynthia Jones, Board Chair/Executive Committee, gave updates on the accomplishments of the Foundation over the past year while community members enjoyed wonderful food and networking.
