Rolling S Golf Club celebrated its Grand Re-Opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Septembers 23rd. New owners Nate Hart and Tim Helton along with their families, welcomed friends, staff, volunteers, Chamber of Commerce staff, and over 80 golfers. There was a shot-gun start at 9 AM, and the celebrations continued with live music and food. he Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Beautify Laurens County Quarterly Clean Up was held on September 16th. Pictured here are two reps from the First Presbyterian of Laurens Clean Up Group, Mary Fortune and Mary Babb Davis. This group reportedly picked up 32 bags of trash! Also pictured is the Clinton Canopy pickup group (left to right : Susan Galloway, Heather Tiller, Marcia Bronson, Liz Tapp). They picked 10 bags of trash in 2 hours! The Chamber of Commerce has supplies including vests, gloves, and bags ready for anyone that would like to participate.
