3rd Quarter Small Business: The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce presented the Small Business of the 3rd Quarter Award on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, to Leslie Anne Cooper Jackson, owner of Tapestry in Clinton. Tapestry is locally owned and just celebrated their 30th year in business. They are a great asset to the county! Leslie Anne Cooper Jackson and Megan Cauble, manager at Tapestry, were presented the award by Marilyn Easter, LCCC Board Chair, and Greg Alexander, LCCC President and CEO.
Ribbon Cutting: The Laurens County Disabilities & Special Needs Board celebrated the ribbon cutting of their new Magnolia Campus at Pleasantview in Gray Court! They were joined by the Chamber of Commerce, community members and elected officials for the ceremony.
The Junior Leadership retreat was last Friday, September 23rd! Students enjoyed team building exercises and learned how to be leaders in the community!
