Date: Revolutionary War

History: Legend has it that an American Revolutionary soldier and his horse hid from British soldiers in the cavern to the left of the waterfall. Located at Musgrove Mill Park.

Location: From I-26 (Exit 52) take Hwy. 56 north. Cross Enoree River and go approximately one mile. Take a left on Horseshoe Falls Road. Horseshoe Falls is on the left immediately after crossing the Enoree River.
