  • Community Profile Ad Sales Underway John Allen, sales representative for Village Profile, publisher of the annual Laurens County Chamber of Commerce community profile and membership directory, kicked off the ad sales project on January 8. Allen is no stranger to Laurens County as he has worked on seven previous projects including six profiles and a detailed county map.

    The community profile is the primary marketing tool for the Chamber. In addition to being distributed to the membership, the profile is provided to all relocation and tourism requests generated annually at the Chamber of Commerce.   • Safe Home Donation in December A Pane In The Glass recently presented a donation to the Laurens County Safe Home. During the month of December, 10 percent of the store's total sales was designated for the relief agency. Presenting the check to Martina Flynn of the Safe Home, center, are Deb and Bruce Conrad, owners of A Pane In The Glass. According to the Conrads, Deb's aunt was active in helping the Safe Home, and the donation was chosen as a way to honor her memory. A Pane In The Glass is located on 103 East Pitts Street in Clinton.
