Congressman Gresham Barrett and Chamber of Commerce host Small Business Leader Forum
The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce was proud to host Congressman Gresham Barrett and members of the Heritage Foundation for a lunch forum aimed at Small Business initiatives for Laurens County. The luncheon was designed to offer a way for the 3rd Congressional leader to hear the issues facing Laurens County business owners.
"Today was a great opportunity as small business owners to not only share our concerns and issues but to learn about ways to better financially prepare my dealership for the future,7q said Jim Firmin of Firmin Ford.
More than 18 local small business owners met with the Congressman and his staff over lunch at the Chamber of Commerce. "I was extremely happy that the Congressman chose the Chamber of Commerce not only as the host site but also for his focus on our small business community. The afternoon offered many new ideas that the chamber needs to look further into," said Rob Clapper, President and CEO of the Chamber.
