Flight of the Dove Brings Hundreds of Cyclists to County for Annual Event
The 2nd annual Flight of the Dove, a bicycling event to benefit Hospice of Laurens County, will take place on Saturday August 25th. All rides will leave from the Hospice of Laurens County Thrift Store on Hwy 76 in Clinton. Rides begin at 8AM and there are 3 options this year: Metric Century (60 miles), 30 miles, or Leisure ride. Registration forms are available for download from this site as well. Raffle tickets will be sold up until 1PM on the day of the event to win a set of 4 Michelin 15, 16, 17 or 18 inch rim diameter passenger of light truck tires. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Hospice of Laurens County office or thrift store. You can also download a ticket and mail it to the Hospice office with payment. Hospice will also be hosting a silent auction the day of on an authentic autographed picture of Lance Armstrong.
