Brad Hollon has been named Ambassador of the Quarter for the First Quarter of 2008. The award was presented during the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Celebration at Little River Amphitheater in Laurens on May 22.

Hollon is a Spartanburg native who now makes his home in Greenville. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in business and is an account manager with GOS (formerly known as Greenville Office Supply). Brad’s main territory covers Clinton and Laurens, but he also services some accounts in the Greenville area. He offers numerous business services to his local customers including free next-day delivery of orders.

"GOS saw the benefits of being an active member of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce and Brad saw the advantages of becoming a Chamber Ambassador," said Randall Frye, vice-president of member services. In his short time in the group, Brad has proven to be a valuable asset. He supports the Chamber through attendance at events and frequent courtesy calls on members. He also secured GOS’s part in sponsoring the Small Business Celebration.

When he’s not working for GOS or volunteering for the Chamber of Commerce, Brad enjoys active memberships in Ducks Unlimited and the South Carolina Waterfowl Association.

"We are pleased to honor Brad Hollon as the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Quarter," said Sue Tinney, co-chair of the Chamber’s membership development committee that oversees the Ambassador program. # # #
