Firmin Ford of Laurens got some great news in March as they received recognition as a winner of the coveted 2007 President’s Award.
The President’s Award is Ford Motor Company’s highest honor. It acknowledges those Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealerships that have led the nation in exceptional service and vehicle ownership experiences for their customers.
Ford dealerships nationwide receiving this award, did so by reaching certain performance levels and by feedback provided by the customers. Winners of this award are organizations with a customer focused mentality, a commitment to sound processes and outstanding team members.
With only 408 of these awards up for grabs each year, more than 5,000 dealerships nationwide seek to win it. In 2007, only 340 met the criteria set by the Ford Motor Company and deemed worthy of this recognition. Firmin Ford was one of only four dealerships in South Carolina to win the President’s Award.
"Earning this award is a reflection of our entire staff’s commitment to delivering the best customer experience possible," said Jim Firmin, owner of Firmin Ford.
"I couldn’t be more proud to receive this recognition, especially since it comes from the people we value most – our customers. They are the reason we were able to achieve this award," added Firmin.
