Randy Harrison Named Chairman of SLED Security Advisory Committee
American Services, Inc. is proud to announce that Randy Harrison, President of American Security Division, has been named Chairman of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Security Advisory Committee. The Security Advisory Committee meets with SLED and other Private Security groups to address pertinent issues concerning the security industry. This committee includes SLED, Private Security, Proprietor Security, Hospital Security, College Security and Nuclear Security.
Harrison joined American Services after a 25 year career with the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED). While at SLED, Harrison investigated major crimes, from drug trafficking to murders and kidnapping. He spent part of his career performing undercover narcotics work. Harrison worked on both the United States Attorney’s Organized Crime Drug Task Force and was deputized by the FBI, DEA and US Marshal’s office. Harrison is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association and of the International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security holding a basic security officer certification.
