Anderson Hardwood Floors Launches Expansion at Clinton Facility

The Anderson family of Fine hardwood Floors has embarked on one of the most extensive construction periods in its history with an expansion of its Clinton plants and facilities. The company will be adding over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space bringing total manufacturing space to over 160,000 square feet. The company will also be adding over 100 new jobs totaling over 600 employees in the state. (Artist's Conception, Above)
"Anderson Hardwood Floors is the second oldest industry operating in Laurens County. We are excited to see the growth they are experiencing and what it will bring to the local economy," said Marvin Moss, interim director of the Laurens County Development Corporation.
Rob Clapper, president and CEO of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce noted the role Anderson Hardwood Floors has played in the county during its long history. "They continue to show a strong commitment to the community that has played an integral role in the company’s success."
Joining President and CEO Don Finkell for the October 9th groundbreaking ceremony are representatives of Andersons parent company Shaw Industries, representatives from the Department of Labor, State Representatives and Local representatives from both local government and the Clinton business community.
