Laurens County Development Corporation Names New Executive Director
The Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC) has hired Marvin Moss as their new Executive Director.
After discussing the personnel matter while in Executive Session, the motion was made to offer Marvin Moss the Executive Director position for the LCDC. Moss has been working as Senior Project Manager for LCDC and acting as Interim Executive Director since the inception of the organization.
Marvin Moss, who formerly was the CEO of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce, has been instrumental in the development of Laurens County and is responsible for many new industries making Laurens their home.
"I am excited about the opportunity to continue serving Laurens County," said Moss. "I have been here about 25 years and look forward to help making Laurens County a better place for people to live, work and play."
