Gille New Business Manager
Theresa Gille has been named the Business Manager for the Laurens County Development Corporation according to Executive Director Marvin Moss. Mrs. Gille has served as the Human Resources/Payroll Manager for Wright Metal Products in Simpsonville for the past 3½ years. During her career, Mrs. Gille has been responsible for Human Resources, Office Management and Accounting activities. She begins her duties on April 15.
The Gille’s reside in Fountain Inn. She and her husband Steve have three children, Taylor, Jordan and Wyatt. Mrs. Gille is active in the Upstate Woman’s Club, GSHRM and SHRM.
The Development Corporation received 27 resumes for the position. Five candidates were invited for an interview. All the candidates were very qualified but Mrs. Gille experience was exactly what we were looking according to Moss. In addition to Moss, the search committee was comprised of County Administrator Ernie Segars and Chamber of Commerce representative King Dixon.
