ISO Poly Films & Sigma Plastics Group Announce Strategic Partnership

Alliance will bring greater expanded film capabilities to benefit customers

GRAY COURT, SC – ISO Poly Films, Inc. and Sigma Plastics Group recently announced a strategic partnership. This alliance brings together the companies’ strengths in product development, film quality, advanced systems and market presence to allow both companies to grow and offer expanded film and capabilities to their customers.

"We are extremely excited about this partnership and the opportunities it brings to ISO Poly Films in allowing us to continue to grow, even during these most difficult economic times,” said Jon McClure, Founder and President of ISO Poly Films. “Sigma is a marketplace leader and we feel confident that aligning ourselves with a larger company will create a win-win-win situation for our customers, employees and the community."

ISO Poly Films – which operates a 135,000-square foot facility in Gray Court, SC – is a custom extruder of high-end multi-layer plastic films for the food, medical and industrial markets. The company celebrated its 10th anniversary last year and has invested more than $35 million in the development and expansion of its state-of-the-art facility and in manufacturing equipment. ISO Poly currently offers a wide range of films, including high-end mono-layer, three-layer, and seven-layer co-extrusion lines.

The company will install additional capacity in three layer and sever-layer co-extrusion lines in the first and second quarters of 09. “It’s important to continue investing in the growth of our company and increase our capabilities to produce specialty films, and this partnership boosts our ability to get stronger and bigger at a time when other companies are contracting,” McClure stated.

As part of the strategic partnership, Alfred Teo, Chairman of Sigma, will serve as ISO Poly Films' Board Chairman.
