  • Koerber LLC to Locate its First North American Facility in Laurens County Automotive Supplier to Bring 70 New Jobs to the Area The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Laurens County Development Corporation recently announced that Koerber LLC will locate its first production outside of Germany in Laurens County. The Koerber LLC will make substantial investments of several million dollars over the next several years into this new plant to establish and grow its position in the market. After discussing the personnel matter while in Executive Session, the motion was made to offer Marvin Moss the Executive Director position for the LCDC. Moss has been working as Senior Project Manager for LCDC and acting as Interim Executive Director since the inception of the organization.

  • Fisher Barton South Carolina, Inc. to Expand its Laurens County Facility The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Laurens County today announced that Fisher Barton South Carolina, Inc. will expand its operations in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The company will invest approximately $3.5 million as a result of the expansion furthering its commitment to the Laurens County community.
