LCDC Unveils Strategic Action Economic
Development Plan
The Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC) unveiled its Strategic Action Economic Development Plan on Thursday, April 9, 2009. The dynamic, forward-thinking plan suggests building on core strengths of the current economic development program.
The new Strategic Action Economic Development Plan builds on LCDC's existing strengths while at the same time broadening the organization's mission to include to a wider definition of economic development.
The Strategic Action Economic Development Plan was developed by Sanford Holshouser Business Development Group, a consulting firm hired to assist with the planning process. Santee Cooper and South Carolina Power Team co-sponsored the strategic planning process by providing generous financial assistance.
