The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce sponsors many dynamic programs designed to help Laurens County thrive. Below is a list of some of the Chamber’s programs:
Leadership Laurens County – Has trained more than 350 local business leaders over the last 35 years and counting
Junior Leadership Laurens County – Molding our best and brightest high school students into leaders of tomorrow
Chairman’s Council – Advisors to the Chamber CEO and Board of Directors comprised of all willing past Presidents and Chairmen of the Chamber since its inception in 1978. These leaders address visionary issues for the future growth of Laurens County and help define the Chamber’s role.
Young Professional Organization (ages 25 – 45) – Young business professionals arm of the Chamber which acts as a networking, mentoring and social opportunity to encourage young talent to come back to and stay in Laurens County
100 Club – Provides a way for community leaders to directly contribute to the economic and community development efforts of the Chamber & Development Corporation.
Touchdown Club – Fellowship through sports and positive recognition of our community’s student athletes to include the Laurens County Legends Committee responsible for recruiting top name keynote speakers. Each year the High School All-County Team is recognized and the Coach of the Year & Player of the Year are awarded.
Laurens County Society of Human Resource Professionals (S.H.R.P) – An organization of Human Resource Professionals representing industry and small businesses in Laurens County. This group meets to network and discuss best practices as well as become updated on Federal and State regulations.
