Meet our Ambassadors: Jen Williams

Tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Jen Williams, and my family and I have lived in Clinton, SC, for 7 years.  My husband is the softball coach at Presbyterian College, and we have an 11-year-old, Adley, who is entering 6th grade. We also have 8-year-old twin boys, Brantley and Berkley, who are going into 4th grade.

When I’m not working, I love being outside, watching the kids play sports, reading, and hanging out with friends.

Where do you work, and what’s your role? What do you enjoy most about what you do?

I am the owner of Upstate Advertising.  We have digital screens throughout the county that only run advertising. In addition, we help with websites, logo design, print and digital marketing materials and social media.  I love working with other businesses to help them grow.

How long have you been an Ambassador, and what’s a personal or professional “win” you’ve experienced through your Chamber involvement?

I have only been an ambassador for a few months.  A professional win I’ve gained from the Chamber is connecting with other business owners in the community. This has given me a network of people I can reach out to and run ideas past, as well as get advice.

What’s one local business or hidden gem in Laurens County you think more people should discover?
