In my work with the county, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on some meaningful projects, one of them being the design of a roll-off wrap. This project goes beyond aesthetics; it’s a creative way to start conversations about waste reduction and recycling in our community.

We all deal with waste, but how often do we pause to consider where it goes or how much of it could have been avoided in the first place? While recycling plays a key role, the real impact comes when we focus on reducing waste at the source.

This particular roll-off wrap is designed to do just that: make people stop and think. With bold visuals and a clear message, it encourages the community to be more mindful, choosing reusable options, cutting down on single-use plastics, and making smarter buying decisions. The shift we’re aiming for is from “Where does my trash go?” to “How can I create less trash in the first place?”

Each time this wrapped roll-off is used, it becomes a rolling reminder that small actions matter. Waste reduction starts with individual choices, and when we work together, those choices can lead to big change.
