Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB) is pleased to announce Lauren Brownlee as its new Affiliate Coordinator. Brownlee succeeds Courtney Stonell, who recently transitioned into a new role with Visit Laurens County, SC. While Stonell has taken on new responsibilities, she will work closely alongside Brownlee to ensure a seamless transition and continued success of the organization’s programs and initiatives.

A graduate of Clemson University, Brownlee is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA). She brings professional experience in financial management, along with a passion for environmental stewardship, community engagement, and beautification efforts.

Originally from Prosperity, South Carolina, Brownlee has become increasingly involved in Laurens County over the past year and a half and recently made the county her permanent home. Her commitment to service is rooted in values of family, faith, and community involvement, which have shaped her desire to invest in the place she now calls home.

“Lauren’s enthusiasm for conservation, volunteerism, and community pride make her an excellent fit for Keep Laurens County Beautiful,” said Courtney Stonell. “We are excited to welcome her to the team and look forward to the energy and ideas she will bring to our efforts across the county.”

“I believe community pride is the foundation for creating positive, lasting change,” said Brownlee. “I’m excited to build relationships throughout Laurens County and encourage volunteerism, beautification projects, and environmental education initiatives that make a visible impact in our communities.”

When she is not working, Brownlee enjoys spending time outdoors through hiking, gardening, exploring local parks, and appreciating the natural beauty that makes Laurens County such a special place to live.

Keep Laurens County Beautiful looks forward to Brownlee’s leadership as the organization continues its mission of promoting environmental responsibility, community beautification, litter prevention, and sustainability throughout Laurens County.
