Ficklin Wins June Grand Prize Mike Ficklin of Clinton, center, was the June grand prize
winner in the ongoing Shop Laurens County First campaign. Ficklin, who
registered at Bailey Manor in Clinton, won a Men's Total Wellness Program
from the Laurens County Health Care System valued at $1,050. A grand prize
winner will be drawn each month through December. Shoppers can register for
the monthly prizes at any of the more than 150 Laurens County businesses and
organizations participating in the campaign. Congratulating Mr. Ficklin
are, at left, Rich D'Alberto, CEO of the Laurens County Health Care System,
and Greg Alexander, president and CEO of the Laurens County Chamber of
Commerce.


First Grand Prize Winner Helen Short of Laurens won a 52” Sanyo LCD HDTV as part of the first grand prize drawing of the Shop Laurens County First campaign on May 29. Mrs. Short registered for the grand prize at the Laurens County Higher Education Center. The shop local campaign continues through December with grand prizes awarded each month.
