Wheelthrown Pottery Officially Shipped to All 50 States Recently, Joey Holmes, with Wheelthrown Pottery, has officially shipped his pottery to every state in the United States. Holmes started making pottery back in 2003 when his wife, Suellen, gave him a pottery wheel for Christmas. From there, clay became his favorite material to work with. Lake Greenwood Cleanup Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the Lake Greenwood Cleanup! This event shows what an impact we can make working together. Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB)  partnered with Keep Greenwood County Beautiful (KGCB) to host this annual event, blanketing the lake parameters with litter removing volunteers. Together we had 227 participants and picked up 5,550 Lbs of litter.

Todd Quarter Clean-up Thanks to the volunteers who came out help pick up litter around Lick Creek Bridge on Todd Quarter Road in Waterloo. They removed 29 bags of trash threatening the riparian area running into the creek and from there to Lake Greenwood. We appreciate them helping keep our roads and lake clean, especially ahead of boating and swimming season!
